Who builds the best decks in Springwater? Of course, we do!
There are plenty of deck builders in Springwater, but most specialize in wood. Curved decks and PVC structures are an entirely different trade. There really are no books or courses to take to learn the secrets.
I won’t turn this into a deck-building class, but consider this. Modern PVC decking is expected to last more than 50 years. A standard wood frame these days lasts about 10-15 years. Staircases, if built like those on your typical pressure-treated deck will last 5-10 years.
How do you build a frame to last 50 years plus? That’s where research and development comes in. We’ve been building decks for 35 years and we visit our decks and structures often to see how they last. We learned from what went wrong, and, we have created ways of prolonging the life of decks dramatically.
Our Process;
We specialize in designing and building decks for people who understand what happens when you look for a low-bid deck builder. Sometimes it works out, but, sometimes it is a disaster. We likely won’t be the ones to build your first deck. We may well be the deck company that builds your last deck though.
We will start out with a quick phone call to discuss your deck. What you want to do, what is most important to be included in your deck, and when you would like to build. If we are a good fit we will arrange a design consultation on site. We’ll take photos and measurements and maybe even do some sketches right there.
If you like where it is going, we can arrange to have designs created to put numbers to. Once we have the design down we can then book your deck to be built in Springwater.
Working drawings usually take a couple of weeks to get done… and permits usually takes 2-4 weeks.
