We Built This Fence in 1995. It’s Still Standing.

We recently passed by a wood trellis fence we built for a client back in 1995. Nearly thirty years later, it’s still standing strong, and the homeowner tells us people still stop to photograph it.

That’s not an accident. It’s the result of a process we still follow today: understand how the client actually wants to use the space, design something architecturally considered rather than just functional, and build it to standards that outlast trends.

Design work like this doesn’t happen by copying photos out of a magazine. Every project we take on gets designed for the site, the sightlines, and the way the space will actually be lived in — which is exactly why a fence from 1995 can still be doing its job flawlessly in the present day.

If you’re planning a fence, trellis, or privacy structure and want something built to be standing (and photographed) decades from now, that’s the standard we still hold ourselves to.
