Small Decks with Style Mississauga
Here is a simple small deck in Mississauga Ontario, with enough style to make it special. Fairly standard aluminum baluster rails, but a cool custom privacy screen steps it up a notch. When building pressure treated or red cedar decks, it is good practice to frame on 12″ centers, then a few years later you can put low maintenance decking on the frame. It’s a matter of about $200.00 investment for the average deck. Brian Boyd designed and built this good-looking Mississauga deck. He has been our authorized installation contractor for a few years now in the Mississauga Area.
Simple Decks – They don’t have to be boring!
Keeping it simple when it comes to decks is always a good strategy. These simple decks are as basic as they come, but including a few special touches kick things up a notch. The horizontal board privacy screens add privacy and a focal point to this small deck design. Lights and furniture are the other tools in our kit to bring small decks to life. This is just part of a yard that has plenty going on. This really is an outdoor living area, not just a deck.
Small Decks as part of a Whole Yard Treatment
These pressure treated and simple decks are just one small part of this landscape. Check out the pavilion pergola here. The pavilion pergola houses a roofed den and the pergola houses the hot tub. Without the cool custom privacy screen, this simple deck may be found lacking. Investing a few hundred in the design and a couple inspired features makes all the difference!
