Outdoor living area concepts in 3D photorealistic renderings for a Mississauga Estate
This is one of the most challenging designs we have ever undertaken. The home is massive, 8-10,000 square ft, and in order to design the outdoor living area we had to render the home’s rear facade in 3d with trim and finishes from layout plans and elevations provided by the client. The cabana was landlocked, they had permission to build on that footprint, so we had to just pretty up what they had planned for. Site measurements had to be confirmed for the pool and home. 5 days of work before we could even start designing the outdoor living area!!
Create an open and inviting outdoor living area for our repeat client at his new home being constructed in Mississauga. A large roofed cabana with outdoor kitchen and open air dining with lighting built into the structures and patios. A very oversized dining room must be suitable for large family gatherings. The entire outdoor living area should be stylistically an extension of the home. The client suggested that everything should be tied together visually.
The Cabana / Pool House
We added a fireplace cool evenings and Nanawall bifold doors to two faces to allow cross ventilation on hot nights, and designed a cool bookcase feature to the fireplace wall. The entire exterior of the structure now matches the house finish with downsized columns.
The Connected Privacy Screen
The red cedar privacy screens are connected by a headpiece to the Pavilion / Kitchen area and the beam frames a walkway. The trelliswork is heavy red cedar to be prefinished with Australian finishes in a solid colour. It can be clad with PVC if budget is no object.
The Pavilion and Outdoor Kitchen
Two layouts with fireplace in the Kitchen area or at Mid Dining room, which was preferable to the clients. The columns match the finish of the home and the overhead roof is actually made of louvered canopies that are flashed together to create a 40′ long roof structure. The fireplace and kitchen is to match the exterior finish of the home, and have black granite tops. The kitchen includes every feature and appliance imaginable.
