Peterborough Decks Contractors

Your Peterborough Deck Company–Deck Builders with Style!

We are a deck company in Peterborough. When you want deck builders with style, we are the answer. Our deck builders are guided towards perfect decks by professional designers. The deck business has changed entirely in the past decade. The “Pressure Treated or Cedar lumber Maam?”  and “Do you want the corners cut off” days of decks are over. These days there are high-quality Hardwoods, prefinished wood, capped composite, rigid PVC and Capped PVC.  These new materials are now durable and have long warranties. Budgets for these higher-end materials can be larger, however, they don’t ever need refinishing. These days we are building in kitchens and louvered roofs or even traditional roofs, making it more like an addition than just a deck.

Read about the most valuable features being built into decks these days.

Powder coated aluminum railings and privacy screens with frosted tempered glass and low voltage lighting– is just icing on the cake. All these upscale features are now available in Peterborough. We also are one of the best deck builders in the Kawarthas!

Your Deck Builders Company

We want to be your deck builders of choice. Our deck company does plenty of work in the area and I think you will notice a drastic difference in the style and substance of our designs. We are not satisfied with decks that last 10 years– we want to see 30-50 years.

  1. Hi. We are looking for a deck design to replace our pressure treated deck. There are two sets of sliding doors that would likely need stairs down to the deck. I find it at safety issue to be stepping over the sill and track for the doors as we get older. Our biggest wish is no railings. Not sure what the bylaws are but we would rather stairs all around to enclose the deck rather than railings. From the deck there is a transition grassy area that I imagine a firebowl. Then to another deck under two mature maple trees with a pergola. I have been in touch with hickory Dickey decks and have been put off for weeks. Can you help?
