Decks with Pavilion Roofs in Hamilton Ontario
Officially a new trend in Decks– Integral Roofs! Why settle for a deck, when you can preserve the structure and the decking beneath a proper roof? Decking, frame, everything lasts longer under a roof, and nothing quite feels like a deck with cathedral ceiling.
Large decks with timber framed Pavilion in Hamilton Ontario
Here is another deck in Hamilton Ontario by our builder in the Niagara region, Matt Holinaty (Ironwood Decks). This one has a timber frame building on the deck with hammer trusses! Matt has been our builder in the area for about 7 years now and his work is beautiful.
A large deck with pitched timber framed roof structure on top- Hamilton Ontario. The structure is not connected to the house–just through the deck. Massive 12 x 12 posts support the deck and pavilion roof. Traditional baluster rails paired with our tempered glass railing system in red cedar help captivate the view.
Red Cedar Decks with Pavilion Roof in Hamilton Ontario–certainly a complex deck and pavilion to plan and put together.
Don’t worry–the rail is not crooked, just appears that way since it is browed outwoards. What a view from this deck! Here is a look at the hammer truss detail at the front corner of the pavilion. Red Cedar tongue and groove on the ceiling hides all the roofing nails below. The front of the deck is an angular brow with tempered glass inserts. The red cedar roof cladding gives a finished appearance from the ground below.
Matt tends to go all out–plenty of detailing on this staircase from the second level deck.
